Role Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Public and Community Relations Manager to managing Blueleaf Energy’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives, planning, developing, analyzing, and implementing various community relations campaigns, marketing efforts, outreach and engagement programs that are deemed to connect communities with Blueleaf Energy.
How You Will Make an Impact
Developing and executing CSR and community engagement strategies
Create and implement initiatives that connect the community with Blueleaf Energy. This involves identifying target audiences, crafting effective messaging, planning and executing events, and coordinating with stakeholders to maximize engagement. CSR programs will be designed to align with the company’s goals and values, including environmental sustainability.
Building and maintaining relationships
Establish and maintain strong partnerships with external stakeholders—including non-profit organizations, community groups, and government agencies—to identify collaboration opportunities and develop impactful projects. Work closely with community leaders, partners, and stakeholders to foster trust and effective communication. Identify key influencers, attend community events, and network to strengthen relationships.
Developing and managing impactful programs
Oversee CSR programs such as volunteer initiatives, donation drives, and employee engagement efforts. Organize and coordinate events that connect the community with Blueleaf Energy, ensuring seamless execution while managing budgets and logistics.
Tracking impact and reporting results
Monitor the effectiveness of CSR initiatives and engagement programs. Establish metrics to assess engagement levels, collect and analyze data, and present findings to stakeholders. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
Leading communication and outreach efforts
Collaborate with internal teams—including HR and Communications—to ensure CSR initiatives are well-communicated and integrated into the company culture. Oversee outreach activities and special events that shape public perception and promote the company’s mission. Responsibilities include crafting and implementing communication strategies, managing social media, and responding to community inquiries.
Managing budgets efficiently
Oversee financial aspects of CSR initiatives and community engagement programs by developing budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effective program execution.
Representing the company in advocacy efforts
Serve as Blueleaf Energy’s representative at external events and advocacy campaigns related to CSR and community engagement, reinforcing the company’s commitment to social responsibility.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Experience with NPOs, NGOs and community development cooperatives(地域おこし協力隊) welcome.
- Experience developing and implementing CSR initiatives, including community outreach programs and partnerships. Highly developed negotiation skills are also desirable.
- Knowledge of regulations and guidelines related to CSR and community engagement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and relationship building skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a diverse work environment
- Strong project management and budget management skills
- Ability to travel within Japan as needed.
