Position

Mission :

As the Legal and Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing legal and compliance matters for 3 legal entities / 7 brands, ensuring the organization operates within legal boundaries and industry regulations. You will play a key role in developing and implementing policies, providing legal advice, and collaborating with the legal counsels at both headquarters and in the region.

Key Responsibilities :

Legal Advisory

  • Provide expert legal advice to management on a broad range of legal issues
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreement, and legal documents

Compliance Oversight

  • Develop, implement, and monitor compliance policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular compliance audits to identify and address potential issues

    • Regulatory Compliance

  • Stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations relevant to the industry
  • Ensure the organization’s activities adhere to all applicable laws and standards, collaborating with regional legal team

    • Contract Management

  • Manage and organize contracts, ensuring compliance and adherence to legal requirements
  • Collaborate with various departments to streamline contract processes

    • Risk Management

  • Identify and assess potential legal and compliance risks
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate legal and compliance risks
  • Conduct internal investigations in response to compliance violations or obligations

    • Training and Education

  • Provide training to employees on legal and compliance matters
  • Foster a culture of awareness and understanding regarding legal and ethical obligations

    • Development Opportunities

    Legal and compliance roles in a different LVMH entities

    Profile

    Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal qualification
  • Proven experience as a Legal and Compliance Manager or in a similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements relevant to Watch & Jewelry industry
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with different departments and legal counsel at headquarters and in the region
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly at all level of the organization
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Fluency in both Japanese and English
