TGRC, a leader in renewable energy staffing solutions, is currently seeking a skilled WTG Commissioning Engineer for an exciting contract role in Hokkaido. This opportunity is ideal for professionals passionate about contributing to the growth of sustainable energy sources while leveraging their expertise in wind turbine technology.
Responsibilities :
Lead the commissioning process of wind turbine generators (WTGs) on assigned onshore wind projects.
Collaborate with project management teams to ensure timely and efficient commissioning activities.
Conduct thorough testing and calibration of systems to meet technical specifications and safety standards.
Provide technical support and guidance on the installation and operational procedures of WTGs.
Prepare and maintain detailed documentation on commissioning processes and outcomes.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the commissioning phase to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
Requirements :
Proven experience in WTG commissioning, preferably within the onshore wind sector.
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems involved in wind turbines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Professional communication and interpersonal skills.
Relevant engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
This contract role offers a competitive hourly rate of $60 and will last for 12 months, with potential for further opportunities based on performance and project requirements.
