Job description

Responsibilities

  • Act as a key support for the FX trading desk, ensuring accurate trade capture and full lifecycle management
  • Monitor and resolve trade discrepancies and breaks promptly
  • Liaise with internal teams-front office, settlements, confirmations, and finance-to ensure smooth processing
  • Maintain oversight of daily risk and P&L reports; escalate issues where required
  • Assist in implementing and enhancing internal controls and process improvements
  • Participate in daily trade reconciliations and end-of-day reporting

Required Skills and Qualifications Experience :

  • 1-3 years in investment banking, preferably within Operations
  • Solid understanding of FX products including spot and derivatives

    • Technical Skills :

  • Strong Excel proficiency
  • Familiarity with trading / settlement systems ( Murex, Bloomberg, MarkitWire) is a plus

    • Soft Skills :

  • Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving
  • Excellentmunication skills in both English and Japanese

    • Language Requirements

  • Japanese : Fluent
  • English : Intermediate to Business level

    • Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Exposure to global FX trading environments
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and international stakeholders
