YOUR DAY TO DAY LIFE

Reporting to the Managing Director Japan, the Finance and HR Manager will serve as a critical member of the leadership team being the main local contact for the regional and global support functions of the company.

This role requires a versatile and highly organized individual with a strong foundation in finance and accounting, human resources, and procurement as the Manager will ensure efficiency and compliance of global processes to support the overall strategic goals of the organization.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English are essential.

Main responsibilities :

General Management & Operational Support :

  • Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures to streamline operations
  • Oversee the maintenance of office facilities and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Prepare and present reports on administrative performance

Finance & procurement :

  • Oversee finance and accounting tasks, including all financial statements preparation and financial reporting, bookkeeping activities, treasury management, internal and external audits, fiscal and statutory filings.
  • Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, in coordination with Regional Controller
  • Monitor and control operating expenditures and capital investments
  • Oversee the proper functioning of financial systems (ERP), ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and financial processes.
  • Work with external accounting firms, auditors, fiscal authorities and banking partners, as well as MXNS Regional and Global Finance teams.
  • Manage the procurement of office supplies, equipment, and other necessary materials and maintain accurate procurement records
  • Implement cost-saving measures in procurement processes and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers
  • Ensure that all purchases are compliant with company policy
  • Human Resources Support :

  • Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor laws
  • Support the outsourced payroll management and administration of employee benefits and compensation programs
  • Assist with performance management and employee relations
  • Assist with any needed employee training
  • YOUR PROFILE

    Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or a related field

    Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and administrative management, preferably in a small to medium-sized organization

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English enable an efficient communication with all levels of the organization

    Strong understanding of accounting, human resources, and procurement principles

    Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively

    Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google suite a must

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    Strong ethical standards, confidentiality and integrity

    Experience with basic accounting software
