Powaiの各拠点チームが協働し、世界各地の取引所ならびにブローカーから配信される市況データや統計データ取得に関する契約管理や費用管理等を担い、全世界の野村證券グループで利用されるデータをビジネスへ提供しています。

Vender Managers、Business AnalystsとOperationsに分かれていますが、必要とされるデータを適切なコストにて、かつ正確にビジネスへ提供出来るように、グローバル・メンバーと一緒に協力し合いながら働いています。

The Market Data Content team is part of the Wholesale Data Services Group in Wholesale IT Dept. Based within the wider Market Data Content group, the Vendor Manager role spans our global business. Market Data Content is the service delivery owner for content acquisition, data governance and financial management, providing both Market, Pricing and Reference Data. Market Data Content is a Global function with regional teams based in Japan, London, Hong Kong, New York and Powai.

The main roles within the Content team include Vendor Management, Business Analysts and Operations. Working together, we strive to offer the business access to the services they need in both an efficient manner and at the right cost. Responsibilities：

Vender Management担当として日々の業務を管理しながら、海外担当マネージャーと連携しより良いチーム作りを担っていただきます。

Operationsメンバーへ連携することにより、インベントリーシステムでの情報の正確性を担保する役割を要求されます。また利用しているサービスがビジネスの要望に見合うサービスであるか、コスト削減およびデータ品質改善を考慮しながら製品・サービスの評価するために、ビジネス・アナリスト・チームと密接な連携が要求されます。

MI(費用状況)レポートの自動化など、テクノロジー・チームと連携しマーケットデータ・コンテンツチームとしての経験や知識を示しながら、プロジェクト遂行に貢献して頂きます。

Nomura is seeking an experienced member of Market Data Vendor Management to join our team in Tokyo.

This position plays a crucial role in managing market data suppliers and supporting various business units across Japan, working as part of a global team and reporting to the Global Vendor Management lead for Market Data Content.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day relationships with market data suppliers and internal stakeholders, while monitoring and analysing service usage patterns to optimize data utilization. A key aspect of the role involves reviewing and managing vendor contracts, including renewals, terminations, and alternatives, as well as negotiating new service agreements. This includes both commercial and legal review, working closely with Nomura's Legal teams to mitigate commercial risks.

Working collaboratively with Market Data Operations, the role requires maintaining accurate service inventory records and partnering with Business Analysts to evaluate product and service requests.

The position requires focus on cost optimization while maintaining data quality standards. The candidate will participate in cross-functional projects, generate and analyse MIS reports, and support automation initiatives alongside technology and operations teams. 登録資格

Requirements Requirements：

• Experience in Market Data Commercial teams within financial services, with a focus on Vendor Management support
• Knowledge of Market Data delivery systems and infrastructure
• Understanding of external data governance frameworks and ability to effectively communicate compliance requirements
• Familiarity with Market and Reference Data providers and their product offerings
• Understanding of Global Markets, Research and Investment Banking operatins
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
• Professional communication abilities in both Japanese and English
• Excellent negotiation skills, and proven commercial acumen.
• Ability to collaborate within and across regions, in a global team environment
• Demonstrate strategic thinking and decision-making skills
• Adaptability to change and new challenges
• MDSL社のMDM / RPMシステムの知識および利用経験。
• Previous experience and attendance at Industry forums and an awareness of key issues within the wider Market Data licensing community.
• Working knowledge of MDSL’s MDM and RPM system are desirable.
