Background to Recruitment :

Fill a vacant position in Corporate Legal function to enhance legal support capabilities for cross-border transactions, disputes resolution and compliance

Description of Work :

• Contract negotiation and documentation review for domestic and cross-border transactions, with special focus on licensing, manufacturing and business alliance
• Detecting / evaluating legal risks and implementing the measures to control such risks
• Research, information gathering and advices on legal issues in Japan and major foreign countries 応募資格／Qualifications 求める経験：

3年から10年程度（外資系企業・外資系弁護士事務所での勤務経験あればなお可）

AI、データ・情報の利活用、その他デジタル関連案件への対応経験、知識があればなお可

Desired Experience :

3 to 10 years practical experience in corporate law environment.　Experiences at non-Japanese businesses or law firms a plus.

Experience in cross-border transaction documentation and negotiation in English a must. Experience in licensing contract documentation and negotiation a plus.

Experience and expertise in digital issues, such as utilization of AI and data, a plus.

TOEIC　850点以上）

Desired Skills / Knowledge / Abilities：

contract drafting / reviewing skills (English / Japanese)

negotiation / good communication skills

Business level English (TOEIC 850 plus)

Desired Competencies :

Clarifies problems surrounding the business and finds solutions by involving stakeholders

Sets challenging goals and strive tenaciously to achieve those goals with a sense of ownership and accountability

TOEIC 850点以上

Desired Qualifications :

BA in Law from a Japanese university, or LLM / JD from a law school in Japan or a major foreign country. Qualification in Japan ("Bengoshi") or other major countries a plus.

TOEIC 850 plus
