Position Name : Network Engineer Tokyo Job

Annual Salary : 6 million yen and above

Responsibilities :

  • Operation and maintenance of fixed network related equipment
  • Escalation response from monitoring team
  • Responding to inquiries from technical support
  • Support for planned maintenance
  • Response to equipment maintenance contracts and outsourcing contracts
  • Response to requests for consideration from the business team
  • Coordination between business operators
  • Construction coordination between business operators
  • Construction coordination with emergency reporting agencies

Network Engineer Tokyo Job Qualifications :

  • 5-10 years of experience in engineering work related to business fixed voice network equipment at a telecommunications carrier or equipment vendor.
  • Knowledge and experience with IP networks (L2 / L3)
  • Knowledge / experience with SIP / RTP protocols
  • UNIX / Linux CLI operations
  • Ability to work late at night and be on-call during holiday and night hours.
  • Understanding of systems related to voice communication services in Japan.

    • Preferred Qualification :

  • Project lead / management experience
  • Knowledge / experience with mobile IMS
  • Knowledge / experience with cloud platforms
  • Knowledge and experience in network security

    • Japanese Language : Bussiness level Japanese (JLPT N2) and Business level english.
