Job description

Amazon Japan is looking for a Senior Product Manager, to lead the product development and launch of new supply chain software services for business (vendor) customers. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team, as we create this new service for Japan, with potential to scale WW.

As a Product Manager, you will lead developing the value propositions, including but not limited to, launching mechanisms for ingesting customer feedback, early-stage invention, and creating roadmaps. You will own the roadmap for key product and services, and lead major launches over the next 3 years, while working closely with tech, operations and business teams. This is a key strategic priority for Amazon Japan, and an amazing opportunity to join an inclusive, flexible and diverse team of leaders.

Key job responsibilities

  • Own and develop the product roadmap
  • Own defining the vision, strategy and business case for investments
  • Own the business development requirements and documentation
  • Partner with tech, science and operation teams
  • Own the 3Y planning
  • Own key reporting cycles to leadership
  • Opportunities to lead learning and sharing sessions, and other people and culture projects

Supply Chain Solutions is a Japan Consumer Innovation (JCI) team focused on innovation, product management and vendor experience transformation across the supply chain. Our products are adopted by business customers, and affect the lives of millions of end customers with availability, fast delivery speed and lower product costs. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Experience owning / driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with end to end product delivery
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience as a product manager or owner
  • Experience owning technology products
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
  • Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
