Description

We are seeking a skilled Advanced Production Scheduling Specialist to manage our manufacturing processes through the use of the Siemens Opcenter APS (Advanced Planning and Scheduling) software. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of production scheduling and capacity planning. They will also have a high level of technical expertise, including familiarity with Siemens Opcenter APS and other relevant scheduling and planning systems.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to) :

Create and manage the production schedule using Siemens Opcenter APS software, ensuring the maximization of efficiency and the meeting of production targets.
Analyze and interpret complex production data, identifying potential issues and implementing solutions as necessary to realize operational objectives.
Continually review the production process to identify areas for improvement and implement changes where necessary.
Coordinate and communicate with production and management teams to ensure accurate scheduling information is relayed and understood.
Resolve any conflicts that arise from schedule changes, ensuring minimal disruption to the manufacturing process.
Liaise with the production team to understand material requirements and ensure the schedule can be met.
Detect and handle any capacity issues in production, optimizing resources for overall operational efficiency.
Conduct scenario planning and simulations for business continuity planning, backups, etc., for global and regional systems.

Requirements :

2-3 years' experience in a production scheduling role within a manufacturing environment.

Extensive experience with Siemens Opcenter APS or equivalent APS software is preferred.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working with stakeholders of all levels.

Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, as well as familiarity with SQL and database systems is preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Intermediate level business English and Japanese language proficiency
