Department Overview

We specialize in HR specifically for the Rakuten Mobile business, which is a key focus of the Rakuten Group. We support all aspects of HR functions (talent management, recruitment, development, evaluation, labor relations, HRBP) with approximately 60 members. While collaborating with Rakuten Group headquarters, we address HR issues specific to Rakuten Mobile and provide comprehensive solutions from planning and implementing measures.

Position Details

The Talent Management section includes a wide range of tasks such as assessment, reassignment, organizational structure design and implementation, succession planning, leadership development, and engagement enhancement. This allows you to develop a wide range of skills and knowledge to broaden your career.

  • Formulating and executing talent management strategies
  • Managing processes related to employee evaluation, promotion, and transfers
  • Reviewing and optimizing organizational structures through HR announcements
  • Planning and implementing career development initiatives for employees
  • Implementing and operating talent management systems
  • Optimizing talent management through data analysis
  • Collaborating and communicating with internal and external stakeholders

Work Environment

Mobile / RTS HR Department : Approximately 60 members

Talent Management Section : Approximately 15 members

Talent Management Group : Approximately 10 members

Mandatory Qualifications :

  • Business-level Japanese proficiency
  • Over 3 years of practical experience in HR, organizational development, or related fields
  • Experience in team collaboration and inter-departmental coordination
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing environments and new challenges
  • Effective communication skills with management and other stakeholders
  • Basic Excel (pivot tables, Vlookup, basic arithmetic) and PowerPoint skills
  • Desired Qualifications :

  • Business-level English proficiency
  • Knowledge and experience in organizational design, organizational development, and talent management
  • Experience in planning, executing, and managing projects
  • Ability to analyze problems and propose and implement effective solutions
  • Experience working with people from diverse backgrounds
  • HR-related qualifications

    A concurrent secondment will be attached to Rakuten Mobile, Inc. and Rakuten Total Solutions, Inc. Human Resources Department (primary responsibility is Rakuten Group, Inc.).
