We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager - Emerging & SMB to join our growing business in Tokyo, Japan.
In this pivotal role, you will lead and inspire a team of Account Executives focused on Start-Ups, SMBs, and Emerging Businesses. Your primary responsibility will be to drive new business growth and ensure your team consistently achieves its sales targets. We are looking for a proactive, hunter-type leader with a proven track record in new business development and a passion for building strong relationships with clients.

- Build a team of motivated Account Executives to increase growth in strategic and emerging markets and the start-up segment.
- Inspire a culture of teamwork, leading with value, and achieving desired customer outcomes
- Develop trust-based relationships with customers and partners to ensure Japan's long-term success
- Encourage learning and ongoing understanding of technical product details and our future product roadmap
- Lead our Emerging sales business in Japan’s growth plans, ensure forecast accuracy, and ensure a predictable, high-growth business.
What we look for :
7+ years of experience selling complex software deals to the region's recognizable organizations within the start-up, SMB, or emerging business verticals.Background in selling usage-based PaaS / SaaS solutions or other Data / AI / ML-related technologies.History of exceeding sales quotas in similar high-growth technology companies.Success in implementing strategies for both usage-based and booking-based sales revenue models.Knowledge of developing the partner ecosystem to help grow strategic territoriesDesire to build a collaborative, inspired team cultureYou live our core values : customer obsessed, raise the bar, truth seeking, first principles, bias for action, and company first.
