- PCおよびスマートデバイスの設計プロセスにおいて、ハードウェアのUX(ユーザーエクスペリエンス)デザイン、人間工学、ユーザビリティをリードする。
- UXを提案・実現する。
- UXに関する設計仕様書やガイドラインなどを作成・管理し、関係部門と連携する。
- UXとして製品に反映する。
- UXチーム以外の関係者に対しても、人間工学的設計の手法やUXデザインの重要性を伝え、社内のUXに対する意識の向上を図る
- UXを実現する。
- HCI、プロダクトデザインなどの分野で最新の知見を取り入れるための自己研鑽を継続する。
- UXデザイン、人間工学、ユーザビリティ、HCI、バイオメカニクス、認知心理学、工学、その他関連分野)。または、UX関連業務の実務経験1年以上。
- 3日以上出社できる方。それ以外の日については、業務内容やチームとの調整に応じて在宅勤務も可能。
- UXデザイン、人間工学、ユーザビリティ、HCI、バイオメカニクス、認知心理学、工学、または関連分野における修士号取得者
- UX関連業務の実務経験2年以上
- UXおよびデザインコンセプトに対する知識と理解

Lenovo is seeking a Human Factors Engineer to join our Hardware User Experience team.
The employee will apply User Centered Design principles and contemporary design practices to assess, form requirements, and develop product designs that promote ease of use, good design and an optimal user experience for Lenovo personal computing products.
Description
Lead activities in the product design process by applying ergonomic and usability design principles to PC & Smart device design.Work collaboratively with cross functional project team members and business peers to propose the best experience for the end user.Develop and maintain design specifications and other design documentation that will be used as guidance for cross functional team members.Utilize ideation skills to effectively communicate design ideas to others.Conduct usability studies of prototype and existing designs during various phases of concept and product development. Translate study results into actionable design recommendations and product requirements.Understand target audiences’ needs and other motivating factors and translate them into concepts for comfortable, compelling and competitive product experiences.Plan and execute iterative user research and analysis projects including but not limited to task analysis, competitive assessments, bench marking, customer interviews, concept testing, usability testing and heuristic evaluations. Educate others outside the User Experience team on HF design methodologies and advocate the benefits of good UX design.Identify user insights and lead new initiatives to deliver industry-leading user experiences.Establish a technical vitality plan to remain current in fields of human factors, user research, HCI, and product design.Position Requirements
Bachelor degree in Human Factors, Human Computer Interaction, Biomechanics, Ergonomics, Cognitive Psychology, Engineering, or related fields, or people with over 1 year professional experience in a UX role.Ability to comply with policy of working from Yokohama office at least 3 days per week. Work from home on other days is possible based on project work and alignment with other team members.Preferred
Master’s degree in a UX-related fieldAt least 2 years experience in a UX-related role.Experience with hardware usability evaluation / testing.Familiarity with user experience and design concepts.Language proficiency : Business-level written and verbal Japanese and English (TOEIC 600 - JLPT N2).Experience with performing hardware usability assessments. (highly preferred)Familiarity and experience executing a user-centered design (UCD) driven project.Creative with a strong design sense.Be able to work independently as well as take direction and work within established strategic and business guidelines.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and international multidisciplinary team environment.Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skillsAbility to travel (up to 10% of time)Additional Locations :
