Description

  • Drive and manage all EHS activities / EHS Roadmap for CS Japan.
  • Lead the CS Japan EHS team, provide direction and support
  • Provide EHS guidance & communication, management advice, training, and coaching for CS management and senior staff
  • Takes Safety Culture and Awareness initiatives to drive the safety culture to the next level
  • Owns the CS Safety dashboard / KPI’s, and secures safety incident reporting and follow-up (including management review)
  • Manage, coach and develop the CS Japan EHS community (Specialists / safety engineers / health staff / safety ambassadors
  • Identify best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work related safety and health risks, raise safety awareness, and improvement of safe work practices
  • Monitors and controls the EHS / Safety Management System (ASML framework)
  • Work with field operations to address all Product Safety related issues including cooperation with the Japan Global Product Safety Team and working with DE and escalation processes.
  • Drives the EHS / safety audits / inspection program to ensure internal and external compliance
  • Secures alignment with worldwide CS EHS and be part of the CS EHS WW Leadership team

Educational Level

  • Bachelor’s / MSC Degree in an engineering field or equivalent
  • BSc / Msc degree in Safety Management or comparable, preferably Certified Safety professional.
  • Experience

  • 10 years working experience as EHS Manager in high tech Industry or comparable
  • Demonstrable experience with managing teams
  • Demonstrable experience with maturing safety culture in complex / high tech / multi-site organizations
  • Personal Skills

  • Strong people leadership skills
  • Person drive for safety
  • KPI oriented and able to drive team’s performance
  • Strong interfacing and communication skills in both LOCAL Language and English
  • Strong influencing skills to engage all relevant internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to manage up to Sr. management
  • Excellent coordination capability to manage simultaneous issues
  • Track record in safety improvements & change management
  • Hands-on in problem solving
  • Analytical thinking skills
