The Role

We are seeking a Quality Control Manager – Food Imports (Italy & Spain) to lead our QC operations and ensure strict adherence to food safety and compliance standards. You will oversee a dedicated team of 6–10 professionals while collaborating across functions to maintain excellence across imported food categories.

Key Responsibilities Include :

  • Partnering with internal teams to ensure alignment with quality standards
  • Overseeing audit activities and driving timely implementation of corrective actions
  • Conducting regular QA audits and post-audit follow-ups
  • Developing and maintaining quality systems and SOPs aligned with industry best practices
  • Managing a cross-category QC process (fresh, processed, beverages, etc.)
  • Leading and mentoring a QC team of 6–10 professionals
  • Supporting food traceability, safety documentation, and supplier coordination
  • Collaborating with logistics and compliance to ensure smooth import operations
  • Ideal Profile

  • 5年以上
  • HACCP、ISO 22000、日本の食品安全基準に関する知識
  • 30%)
  • 5+ years of experience in quality control within hospitality, logistics, or food import / export industries
  • Familiarity with HACCP, ISO 22000, and Japanese food safety regulations
  • Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills
  • High attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Proven ability to coach and develop high-performing teams
  • Fluency in Japanese and English
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% for inspections and audits
