What the Role Entails
Who We Look For
Relevant Experience : 3+ years of experience in game publishing, with at least 2 years focused on marketing in the Japanese market.
Full-Cycle Marketing Knowledge : Strong understanding of the full game publishing pipeline and all major marketing functions. Proven track record of launching games successfully, backed by concrete examples of online campaigns and measurable results.
Genre Familiarity : Experience working on (or playing) anime-style games, shooters, or RPGs is highly preferred.
Language & Cultural Fluency : Fluent in business-level Japanese (JLPT N1 or above) and Chinese as a working language. Prior work or life experience in Japan is a strong plus.
Strong Communication & Drive : Excellent interpersonal skills, self-starter mentality, and the ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Deep Cultural Understanding : A strong grasp of Japanese otaku and subcultural trends, with the ability to accurately interpret and respond to local pop culture and fan-driven phenomena, is a major plus.
