Experience of product design for yield improvement and cost reduction of semiconductor laser diode Knowledge of semiconductor device reliability Fluent Japanese speaker and intermediate English skill Basic PC skills, such as MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Job Description
Laser design engineer for InP semiconductor laser, especially for DML and CW laser.
Responsibilities :
- Develop new or enhanced laser design with semiconductor material physics, optical science and high-speed design technologies.
- Responsible for the stable volume production and the improvement of productivity
- Product design of DML and CW laser for yield improvement and cost reduction
- Design and fabricate the necessary parts for evaluation, such as submounts, as needed.
- Evaluate fabricate chips, analyze evaluation data and write reports of them.
- Attend a meeting to explain and discuss the results.
