Overview
Data CoE (Center of Excellence)を立ち上げ、組織を横断した取り組みを本格的に開始しております。データ戦略部（Chief Data Office, CDO）はData CoEの一員として、野村グループにおけるデータ利活用の促進において重要な役割を果たしています。現在Data CoEでは多数のプロジェクトを運営しており、プロジェクト管理の経験が豊富な人材を探しています。入社後は主に各種プロジェクト・予算管理運営、ビジネスアナリスト業務等に従事する他、適性やご希望に応じてデータ分析・開発等にも携わって頂く事も視野に入れています。
At Nomura Group, we strategically position data as a critical asset to enhance our competitive advantage by optimizing data utilization efforts. To this end, we have established the Data Center of Excellence (CoE), launching comprehensive cross-organizational initiatives. The Chief Data Office (CDO) plays a pivotal role within the Data CoE, actively fostering data utilization across the Nomura Group. We are currently overseeing a multitude of projects and are seeking talented individuals with extensive project management experience. Upon joining, you will primarily engage in various project and budget management activities, as well as business analyst functions. Depending on your skills and preferences, opportunities may also be available for involvement in data analysis and development.

AI利活用等の各種データ利活用プロジェクトやAI関連プロジェクトの運営・管理を行います。AI開発に関する技術的支援を行います。能力・適性次第では一部実際の分析や開発業務に従事頂く可能性もあります。Lead and manage a variety of data utilization projects within the Nomura Group, focusing on establishing robust data infrastructure, delivering actionable business intelligence, conducting data analysis, and implementing AI technologies.Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to identify and clarify complex business challenges, developing strategic projects that drive effective solutions and measurable outcomes.Oversee project progress, reporting, and budget management, while evaluating project results and recommending actionable improvements to ensure continuous enhancement.Provide technical expertise in data analysis and AI development, collaborating with team members to support project objectives. Depending on your skills and interests, you may also have opportunities to engage in hands-on analysis and development work.Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technological advancements, delivering valuable insights that can be leveraged in projects. Additionally, facilitate training sessions and presentations to raise awareness among internal and external stakeholders about the critical importance of data, thereby improving overall data utilization practices.Requirements Requirements： ＜Mandatory＞ Hard skills
IT企業、コンサルティング等における7-10年程度のIT・データ分析等のプロジェクト管理の経験。ITプロジェクトマネジメントのフレームワーク（PMBOK、アジャイル、スクラムなど）の専門知識と実務経験。Jira等）の活用能力、アジャイル・ウォーターフォール型プロジェクトの計画立案・進捗管理を効率的に行えるスキル。AI関連技術に関する基本的な知識。Python、SQL等の基本的な実務経験。7 to 10 years of project management experience in IT and data analysis within financial institutions, IT companies, or consulting firms. Proficient in IT project management frameworks, including PMBOK, Agile, and Scrum, with practical experience.Proficiency in project management tools (such as Jira), with the ability to efficiently plan and manage progress for both Agile and Waterfall projects.Experience as a business analyst, adept at clarifying and defining business challenges through stakeholder engagement, developing actionable solutions, and translating requirements into concrete project plans.Fundamental knowledge of data analysis and AI technologies, along with practical experience in programming languages such as Python and SQL.Mandatory＞ Soft skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse business stakeholders.Strong problem-solving capabilities, skilled in systematically analyzing complex business challenges and presenting actionable solutions.Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to prioritize project tasks clearly and manage resources effectively.Proven leadership and influence, capable of drawing out team strengths and guiding them towards achieving common goals.In-depth domain knowledge and experience in the financial industry, coupled with a strong motivation to drive innovation in financial business through effective data utilization.Fluency in Japanese (native or near-native proficiency) and business-level English, ensuring effective communication in a bilingual environment.Preferred＞
PMP等のプロジェクトマネジメント関連資格。BI・データ可視化ツール（Power BI等）を用いたデータ可視化、洞察提供の経験。Pythonによる機械学習、MLOps関連の経験・スキル。AWSサービスの導入・活用実績。AWS Solutions Architect AssociateなどのAWS認定。Snowflake等のDWH・データレイク利活用経験ChatGPT等のLLMを用いたアプリ・ツール開発等の知識経験。Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management qualifications.Experience in data visualization and insights delivery using BI tools (such as Power BI), facilitating data-driven decision-making.Experience and skills related to machine learning and MLOps using Python.Proven track record of deploying and utilizing AWS services, with relevant AWS certifications (, AWS Solutions Architect Associate).Experience in leveraging data warehousing and data lake technologies, including Snowflake.Knowledge and experience in developing applications and tools using large language models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT.Strong coordination and communication skills for engaging with senior management across various business domains.Location 大手町
