Our client is a leading European manufacturer of memory and security solutions for industrial and IoT applications. They enable the digital and connected world to operate securely by reliably storing and protecting data. To support their continued growth in Japan, they are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive business development and customer engagement across embedded IoT and security authentication markets.
Key responsibilities :
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the business in Japan
- Acquire and manage new customers, system integrators, and partners
- Lead customer meetings, product presentations, and technical discussions
- Promote our client’s IoT and authentication portfolio in collaboration with marketing and product teams
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
- Support local marketing campaigns and represent the company at trade shows, webinars, and events
- Report regularly on pipeline development and sales performance
Requirements
5+ years of experience in business development or sales, ideally in IoT, flash storage, or authentication / securityKnowledge of MFA / authentication solutions or secure storage markets is a strong advantageProven success in generating leads and closing complex dealsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsStrategic thinker with a proactive and self-driven mindsetComfortable working in international and cross-functional teamsFluent in English; Japanese language skills are a significant plusBachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, engineering, or a related fieldBenefits
