This is a globalpany operating, amongst others, in the field of VAT refunds to travellers, and is a leadingpany with the largest amount of TFS transactions in Japan.

Project Integration team is responsible to localize and implement Global attractive systems and services to our fast-growing business in Japan while meeting Japanese quality standards.

The holder of this position will work with IT Manager, Project Integration Japan and Technical Project Manager, Japan. He / she should work for BAU such as trouble shooting, execution of UAT, preparing Business Requirement Specification in the new projects etc., for all Global and Local systems and services used in Japan.

Your new role

Localization

Understand Japanese regulation, merchants' requests, market trends etc. deeply, and collaborate with Central team to ensure that Japan's requirements are properly implemented to the Global systems and services.

Implementation

Develop a plan considering also the rollout plan to ensure that the effective date of the law and the date agreed with the customer are met. This requires priority negotiation with each product team, in some cases, with senior managements.

  • Resolves and / or escalates issues in a timely fashion
  • Cooperation with Field Service team and smooth / polite handover to them
  • Global systems and solutions will be improved not only for Japan, but also for other countries. Service quality must be ensured through appropriate degradation testing and release support.

    In addition, when trouble happened, Project Integration team will take lead and work with Central team to resolve the issue.

    Also support the users (ex. merchants, GB operating Refund Counters) for installation and trouble shooting, including related devices.

    What you'll need to succeed

  • IT or Technology education
  • 7+ years of working experience with minimum 4 years of similar position.
  • Rich experience of developing front end solutions (Include requirements definition, UI, IF, Form design, error handling design)
  • Rich experience of developing Multi platform applications (Windows, iOS, Android)
  • Minimum JAVA, C# programming skill (Able to review source code)
  • Demonstrated experience in managing projects / work streams within projects
  • Excellentmunication skills across international teams
  • Excellent organizational, decision making, and problem solving skills
  • Work experience within an international / multicultural environment preferred
  • Project Management Certification (PMI, IPMA) is a plus;
  • Familiar with Ticketing Systems is a plus;
  • Experienced on Payment Systems / Solutions is a plus;
  • Excel VBA programming skill is strongly required in order to automate various daily processes;
  • Independent and self-motivating personality, able to work under remote management;
  • Strong resolution orientation, interpersonal,munication and organization skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team and present ideas clearly and concisely;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and customer service skills, with detail oriented.
  • Fluent Japanese language skills (oral & written)
  • Fluent English language skills (oral & written)
