This role will focus on :

Overall responsibility

Responsible for managing LS Sector team in Watson-Marlow Japan with tasks related to marketing, forecasting, solving customer related issues and continuous improvement in sales activities as whole team.

This role will focus on :

Drive sales growth in the LS within WMFTS Japan.

Drive growth through facilitation of vigorous customer strategy development, project planning, execution, and tracking.

Build customer relations through direct meetings in support of account managers to maintain good revenue increase for the organization.

Develop Process Industrial strategies to penetrate the market

Analyze and explore market trends; identifying new opportunities in assigned region

Direct price positioning and profit margin.

Create new strategies for marketing and monitoring QC and QA measures

Monitor and review company’s project activities and ensure that they are brought to completion within scheduled period and budget

Develop, articulate, and lead execution of long and short-term goals and strategies.

Construct and manage the budget around the business plan, own and report on your sector’s P&L.

Manage and drive team and individual performance development.

Coordinate with other teams like the marketing team to develop plans for launching new products, and implementation

Coordinate with other heads of departments, integrating objectives and ideas for organizational growth

Lead by example and develop an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives are accepted and encouraged.

Provide effective management to organization’s business activities that have to do with its strategic and financial growth

Ensure harmonious working environment

Responsible for training and mentoring staff; motivating them for effective performance for the general growth of the company

Champion initiatives to develop, improve, and resolve issues with critical processes and technologies

To be successful in this role, you will need :

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, or equivalent experience. This must be from an accredited university or college

Ability to work under pressure and tight schedule

Ability to identify any risk from customers and capable to do the right action immediately.

Strong analysis competence and communication skill including overseas internal people

Ability to identify new opportunities and exploit them to the benefit of the company

Creative thinking – The LS leader should possess the ability to develop and create new ideas, systems, and relationships for the success of the company

Decision making skills : He / she should have the ability to analyze information and evaluate results in order to make the best decision in solving problems

Planning skills : – The leader should have the ability to develop specific plans and goals to help in accomplishing tasks efficiently

Ability to tack complaints and resolve disputes and conflicts

Motivating skills : The LS leader should be able to encourage and build team spirit among staff, bringing about mutual respect and cooperation

He / she must have pleasant personality and display managerial and leadership abilities

To excel in this role, you should be

An experienced business unit manager of 8-10 years

A motivated leader engaged in building a motivated team and sustaining a positive work culture

A highly analytical and meticulous problem solver

Comfortable with working with a diverse group of people
