Role : Senior / Business Development Manager - AI Solutions

Location : Tokyo, Japan (Hybrid)

We are partnering with a global, fast-growing AI startup in the education space, with an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to join their growing team in Japan.

Responsibilities

Drive new business opportunities through lead generation, client meetings, and presentations
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation and closing
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored product solutions
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients
Regularly report on pipeline status and business development metrics

Requirements

Degree holder with 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field

Proficiency in both Japanese and English communication skills (TOEIC score preferred)

Proven track record in Software / SaaS B2B sales and delivering client-focused solutions

Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
