Description
Deeply understand the market environment, customers, products, and portfolio, identify, structure, and analyze business challenges, and formulate product strategies aimed at resolving these challenges in collaboration with the brand team and related departments.
Take full responsibility for planning, executing, and evaluating parts of the execution plan based on the product strategy.
Work together with researchers to gain an accurate understanding of the market environment, verify hypotheses for strategic planning, and evaluate measures through primary and secondary research to validate and improve strategies.
Propose strategies and execution plans to internal and external stakeholders, acquire their approval and support, and ensure smooth implementation.
Communicate effectively with sales and other departments, as well as manage external medical experts to ensure thorough execution of the strategy.
Support maximizing product value globally by collaborating with the global team and other countries beyond Japan.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
Over 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing
Experience presenting budget proposals to management during budget reviews
Experience in marketing and launching new products is preferred
Strong strategic thinking and planning skills
Excellent interpersonal negotiation skills, communication skills, and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and follow through with accountability
Outstanding analytical, facilitation, and project management skills
A self-starter with creative and forward-thinking capabilities
Knowledge of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, as well as external environments
