Responsibilities :
Responsible for sustaining epitaxy process for SAG and TAK manufacturing including on-time process condition control to maintain production schedule and yields, analysis and execution to eliminate the epitaxy-related failure, and enhancement of the manufacturability via self-motivated Kaizen activity.
Develops under the direction of the development engineers a new or modified InP-based epitaxy process, defines growth condition or handling equipment requirements and specifications, and contributes by applying the developed technologies in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of products.
Expected Background :
Requires high school graduate or above with 3+ experience in epitaxial growth field including MOCVD, MBE and HVPE.
Requires documentation skill in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point, communication skill via e-mail, chat and on-line meeting.
Requires skills to summarize epi-related data and to report.
Expected Skill :
III-V alloy materials knowledge such as InP, GaAs and GaN epitaxy for optical or electrical device development or production, especially having an accomplished skill for MOCVD and MBE process / equipment.

Experience and knowledge of various characterization technology in epitaxial films such as PL. XRD, AFM and optical microscope.
Experience and knowledge of wet chemical etching technology for epitaxial films.
Programming skills to sophisticate the epi process, in-situ control, data acquisition, and database handling is a plus.
Fluent Japanese speaker with communication, documentation in Japanese.
