Responsibilities

We are looking for high quality talent to join Bernstein’s premier Equity Research platform in Asia. We are recruiting for full-time Research Associates. Our research teams are typically only two or three professionals; therefore, you will have a high level of responsibility and be empowered to make an important contribution.

As a Research Associate you will :

  • Acquire expertise in your sector working with a Senior Analyst who is a seasoned industry expert.
  • Become adept at in-depth analysis of your industry and companies.
  • Contribute to our highly differentiated written product
  • Build relationships with company managements as well as sales, trading, and institutional clients

Profile required

Our Research Associates typically possess :

  • Track records of outstanding academic performance, including honors and awards. Academic credentials typically include test scores and grades in the 90th percentile and above.
  • Advanced financial modelling skills including confident knowledge of Excel and / or experience of analyzing financial companies (may have credentials such as the CFA, ACA or CPA)
  • Excellent broad-based analytical skills
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg is an advantage.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English & Japanese (Native or N1 – JLPT). Fluency in other Asian languages is an advantage.
  • Relentless intellectual curiosity and a drive to excel at the highest level
