AEM Developer

Job Description

About the role】

Design, Develop and Manage AEM based CMS applications (headfull / headless) for our clients. Work with local and Global teams to deliver projects.

To Design, Develop and unit test the application that is created based on AEM and its features such as sites, assets, workflows etc.,

Analyzing the business requirements and creating implementation strategies

Independent development and implementing innovative ideas

Java based web development of release-capable AEM applications

Implementation of HTML templates into HTL

Writing Junit test cases and running test cases with a coverage of 100%

Code check-in, check-out and code merge

Defect fixing and elevating the changes to higher environments

To work alongside the Technical Leads and other developers

To work alongside with Clients / Business Analysts to understand the IT requirements

Co-ordination with Testing team to ensure timely and defect free application deliverables

Must】

At least 5 years of application development experience

At least 3 years of hands-on experience as an AEM frontend and backend developer

Hands on experience in using HTL, AEM workflows, creating custom components and templates

Hands on experience with sling models

Hands on experience in integrating AEM applications with backend RESTFUL services

Good Exposure on JCR API and Sling API

Nice to have】

Knowledge about using AEM as “content as a service”

Knowledge about design patterns.

Knowledge about content caching.

Knowledge about AEM as a cloud service etc.,

Development / co-ordination experience with overseas team members

Knowledge about retail eCommerce can be considered as a plus

Language】

Bilingual – Japanese, English business level
