Department Overview
Rakuten Marketing Cloud Platform Department’s mission is to lead Rakuten’s marketing related products strategy, execute product development and implementation. We empower Rakuten internal marketing teams by building engaging, respectful, and cost-efficient marketing platforms that put our customers at the center. With the expansion of our business, we are opening a Senior Product Manager position to accelerate our product growth in digital marketing technology, especially in AI, personalization and marketing automation.
Position Details
- Lead and mentor a team of product managers, as well as individually contribute as the product manager for strategic initiatives across the portfolio
- Foster a culture of innovation and execution, promoting autonomy within the team, enabling PMs to actively contribute to and shape product strategy
- Define product direction and strategy and build the product roadmap to fuel exponential growth and engagement
- Identify market trends and customer needs to inform new features and services
- Develop a rigorous product planning process to ensure speed and quality of product development.
- Drive the product lifecycle, analysis, and continuous improvements
- Own, define, plan, measure and improve key product metrics
- Partner effectively across the company to execute the product plan and deliver the biggest impact. Stakeholders include executives, sales, engineers, designers and more
Mandatory Qualifications :
Demonstrable 7+ years' experience managing product(s) in digital / internet business domain at multiple stages – conceptualization, launch, growth, and maturity. In particular digital marketing tech such as AI, personalization and marketing automation. Email, push or eCommerce experience is also favorable.Proven ability to define a product vision and strategy, communicate that across the organization, and deliver a solution that is highly impactful and scalable.Demonstrated ability to guide teams to achieve significant milestones and foster a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.Sophisticated understanding of marketing tech (mar-tech), digital channel communication, multichannel marketing, social media marketing and its underlying technologies with 5+ year experienceYou can inspire teams and engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives, ensuring clear communication of vision and strategy.You can build relationships with customers to help uncover problems and drive solutions.Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and an ability to interface with senior managementYou are data-driven, consistently utilizing insights to inform strategy, prioritize roadmaps, and drive product performance improvementsSelf-reliant, you champion your products to drive results.Business level fluency in EnglishDesired Qualifications :
