Job description10–12+ years of experience in test management, preferably in insurance domains Proven track record of delivering high-value projects involving multi-core applications Deep understanding of life insurance processes : policy quote, origination, claims, underwriting, and administration Minimum JLPT N3 certification Certifications such as LOMA 290 / 301 and Japanese insurance credentials are a plus Proficiency in tools like Azure, ALM, Jira, Confluence Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to manage project milestones, planning, and financials Familiarity with the latest testing tools and best practices Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese is mandatory
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain test strategy, test plans, and test scenarios.Lead end-to-end testing activities including functional and non-functional testing
- Collaborate with application owners, test managers, and UAT teams to ensure alignment
- Oversee the full test cycle : planning, preparation, execution, and reporting
- Serve as the central point of contact for test environment management
- Coordinate with environment teams to ensure test environments are current and stable
- Demonstrate test coverage and secure client sign-off
- Manage continuous automation for SIT and regression testing
- Publish daily and weekly status reports, track risks and issues to closure
- Review business requirements and identify defects early in the lifecycle
- Guide test team members on insurance-related projects and ensure test data provisioning
- Talk to native Japanese stake holders and plan all test activities
