Public Policy Supervisory Department is a department that engages in lobbying activities for the creation of new industries and economic revitalization through deregulation by lobbying public policy through communication with the legislative and executive branches. In addition to policies directly related to the Rakuten Group's business, we also aim to realize policies that contribute to the development of the economy through the operation of economic organizations.

Position Details
In this role, responsibilities include (but not limited to) :
- Plan, develop and implement public policy office's global activities
- Research and analyze global policy trends
- Build and maintain relationships with overseas government officials and relevant industry groups, etc
- Build relationships with embassies in Tokyo, representatives of foreign government agencies, etc
- Plan and manage events related to public policy offices' activities
Mandatory Qualifications :
Requirements : Japanese (Native level)Proven work experience in similar rolesExperience in working with global entities or working in English (written and verbal)Excellent reading and writing skills to understand / produce complex regulatory or policy documents both in Japanese and EnglishThe ideal candidate will have
