Department Overview

To realize Rakuten Mobile's strategy, this department combines Operational Excellence (such as payroll, social insurance, and attendance management), Center of Excellence (such as HR systems and talent development), and HRBPs driving the strategy, taking responsibility as HR specialists. Operating in a global environment, the department plans and manages HR policies and strategies while leading initiatives to energize the organization.

Position : Why We Hire

Our department provides HR services to over 3,000 employees. As HR specialists, our responsibilities extend beyond operations to include addressing challenges and managing projects, covering a wide range of tasks. This recruitment aims to strengthen our organizational capabilities by hiring candidates who can take the lead and drive progress forward.

Position Details

As a manager level position in charge of talent acquisition (new graduates and mid-career) for our department, entrusted with the following responsibilities :

  • Defining recruitment requirements for open positions in collaboration with Hiring Managers
  • Planning and managing the execution of recruitment strategies
  • Building candidate pools through various recruitment channels (agencies, direct sourcing, referrals, etc.)
  • Managing and improving the recruitment process (from candidate sourcing to document screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding)
  • Building long-term relationships with potential talent (networking events, social media, etc.)
  • Designing communication plans from the start of the selection process to the final hiring decision
  • Participating in recruitment support initiatives across the Rakuten Group
  • May also be asked to participate in or manage projects within the team or cross-functional projects involving other departments.

    Mandatory Qualifications :

  • Over 3 years of practical experience in recruitment operations (including experience working at a recruitment agency)
  • Experience in recruitment using agencies / media
  • Experience with direct recruiting platforms such as BizReach / LinkedIn
  • KPI management (taget number management)
  • Desired Qualifications :

  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR and labor management (work regulations and labor laws)
  • Experience in RPO (Recruitment Process Outsourcing, such as recruitment support outsourcing)
  • English proficiency (experience working in roles requiring English)
  • Ability to engage and involve others to drive tasks forward
  • Flexibility in approaching and handling tasks
