About this position

At Henkel Japan's Adhesive Technologies Mobility & Electronics (AME) division, we are seeking an Application Engineer for products aimed at electronics professionals as part of our efforts to further expand the business. AME's key clients span a wide range of industries, including consumer device, digital printing, PC, display, gaming, smart phone, camera module and semiconductor such as image sensor, 5G and automotive applications.

What you'll do

• Field visits to end-users to understand habits, application specifics, analyze competitor landscape.
• Product recommendations, product applications demonstrations, technical visits
• Work with application equipment to provide solutions to enhance customer adhesive related processes.
• Support standardization process of technical documents & ensure same data in all platforms.
• Handling the laboratory work by own (incl. prioritization) for samples coming from customers and report technical results to customers.
• Lead for several project handlings in parallel and support customer and product development projects on adhesive technical knowledge deeply
• Work for Application engineer for Camera module business (Main customer in US)
• Reports quality issues / customers' claims to relevant parts of the organization
• Leverage customer feedback to optimize current offers and identify new business opportunities for sales and marketing colleagues.
• Communicate with sales, marketing, Product Development, Innovation, members of technical field team or project team members. (Domestic and Oversea)
• Stay up to trend on latest application on electronics and adhesive industry.
