YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Accountable to deliver required compliance to all cyber security regulatory, legal, industry requirements to ensure Bayer maintains its license to operate; this includes engaging IT, Legal, external partners and other stakeholders to understand, assess and communicate all requirements and associated risks / gaps, and to ensure implementation of all controls and measures to avoid significant financial / legal impact or enforcement measures from government agencies
• Act on behalf of the Global Cyber Security Organization as a single-point-of-contact; deliver globally developed Cyber Security products and capabilities, ensure local readiness and adoption, and minimize business disruption (frictionless user experience)
• Lead efforts to successfully deliver on requirements associated with emerging and expanding cyber security laws, and country level regulations to avoid business disruption and significant financial fines
• Identify, assess and resolve all locally driven cyber security and compliance risks; proactively communicate overall risk posture, deliver mitigation measures and escalate issues to senior management to ensure business continuity and competitive advantage
• Build and maintain customer and partner trust by responding to all incoming requests for information related to Bayer’s Cyber Security Program; lead efforts to obtain all necessary security certifications to enable Bayer businesses to operate within specified countries, industries and governments
• Oversee the end-to-end execution of all local cyber security audits (including government audits); ensure that all requests for information and evidence are provided in a timely, accurate and complete manner to reduce the likelihood of fines, penalties and financial / business impact
• Responsible for helping to deliver a strong cybersecurity culture across Bayer globally
• Establish and conduct leadership cyber security reviews so that critical exposures and risks and necessary actions are communicated and leaders are equipped with the necessary information and data to drive required action within the organization
• Deliver key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of country / division risk and compliance and provide regular reports to leadership and key stakeholders
• Support OT Security operations at local production sites (PH : Shiga, CS : Hofu)

WHO YOU ARE :

Very good understanding of Cybersecurity and Risk Management processes with at least 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity Standard understanding of network communication, network configuration, and server configuration : necessary for collaboration with manufacturing information security manager (MISM) at production sites, the IT Foundation team and global support teams Strong understanding of Change Management and Communications Excellent command of the English and Japanese, both verbal and written Understanding of ITIL concepts Business acumen Strong communication skills Strong cultural understanding of tailoring messages to reach the specific audience Ability to convey complex technical topics to non-technical partners and employees Solid collaboration and partnering capabilities; ability to develop trusting relationships on all levels of the organization and across countries / cultures Very good understanding of Cybersecurity and Risk Management processes Strong understanding of Change Management and Communications Excellent command of the English and Japanese, both verbal and written Standard understanding of network communication, network configuration, and server configuration : necessary for collaboration with manufacturing information security manager (MISM) at production sites, the IT Foundation team and global support teams Understanding of ITIL concepts

CISA or CISM certificate TOEIC 800 or above and fluency in Japanese language (N2 or above) Project Management relevant certification Other IT / Security relevant certifications
