As Amazon continues to grow, the customer returns experience has become a crucial differentiator in e-commerce. We view the returns process not merely as a cost center, but as a vital opportunity to build customer trust and create a sustainable business model.

In this position, you will lead the development and implementation of innovative solutions to create next-generation returns experiences. You will be involved in innovative initiatives including label-free returns, unmanned reception systems, and environmentally conscious recycling programs that put us at the forefront of the industry.

Furthermore, you will play a critical role in driving operational efficiencies in returns management, directly impacting cost reduction efforts worth hundreds of millions of yen annually. Acting as a bridge between Operations and other teams, you will lead cross-functional improvement initiatives to optimize our returns network.

Key job responsibilities

Manage returns KPIs and drive performance improvements

Standardize returns processes and quality management

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
  • Business level verbal and written communication in English and Japanese

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience
