Overview

Under direct supervision of the Senior Manager, Content and Digital Marketing, Japan, the Creative Services Specialist will provide graphic and video services to support marketing and communications objectives in Japan. They will collaborate with internal stakeholders on conceptual and stylistic design directions, and ensure that all materials support, reinforce, and align with the Company brand guidelines when working with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Localize Global product launch and campaign assets for use in Japan, including implementation of translated copy into marketing materials (graphics and video)
  • Assist with planning, developing, and executing new global product launch communications materials for use on Shure channels including the website and social media, as well as for Amazon eCommerce
  • Participate in the development of plans for product promotions in support of key marketing communications objectives
  • Design graphics and videos for social media channels in support of new product launches and marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with Marketing teams and trade show vendors on trade show booth graphic designs and videos
  • Assist with optimizing Shure Japan website UX design
  • Assist with creating and updating web content using content management and digital assets management systems
  • Work with local freelance resources and agencies as needed, to deliver creative projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in graphic design, video editing, or related field
  • Intermediate English skills required
  • Knowledge of design principles and concepts
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Video editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Experience with web CMS or blog tool is a plus (HTML knowledge / experience not required)
  • Able to apply company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.
  • Able to follow standard instructions, practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data
  • Strong attention to detail – visuals, copy and numerical
  • Works well under pressure and deadlines
  • Able to master new skills quickly
