Job description

Annual Salary : 10  Million yen and above

Job Responsibilities :

  • End-to-end delivery management of projects executed by offshore teams
  • Effectively translate technical and business requirements between Japanese and English
  • Track project milestones, manage risks, and proactively drive problem resolution
  • Facilitate regular reviews, customer updates and status reporting to all stakeholders
  • Support contract / SOW discussions and release planning
  • Tracking, reporting and communication using tools like JIRA, MS Project, Asana, Excel etc

    • Job Qualifications :

  • 2+ years of program or project management experience (experience in the automotive or embedded systems industry preferred)
  • Experience with in-vehicle electronics and embedded platforms
  • Experience working with Japanese clients
  • Familiar with project management tools (JIRA, Asana, Microsoft Project, Excel, etc.)
  • A solid understanding of Japanese business etiquette and communication practices
  • Experience managing diverse, multicultural teams across time zones.
  • Ability to effectively manage SOW, release and change management processes.

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Understanding of Functional Safety (ISO-26262) and ASIL processes
  • Project Management Certification (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2)
  • Experience in real-time systems, HMI development, or ECU software development
  • Knowledge of Agile and / or V-Model development methods

    • Language Skill :  Fluent level Japanese (JLPT N1) and Business english level.
