About this Position

This position will be a part of our Supplier Quality & Development team.

What you´ll do

  • Lead the realization of Supplier Complaint Reduction Programs
  • Develop Teach Suppliers to mature in quality with alignment of Henkel’s requirements, e.g. 8D report, FRPS, SQRM
  • Lead discussion with suppliers on escalation cases which are supplier related, to issue closure
  • Train and support supplier complaint coordinators in the use of the SCMS system and maintenance of SCMS usage
  • Extract and analyze the suppliers’ complaints report, identifying the opportunities for improvement
  • Support the Supplier Quality & Development Global Team to apply the global strategy and program in the region
  • Support Product Development in the selection process of new suppliers and joint development programs (3PM Suppliers)
  • Ensure 3PM suppliers have relevant quality certifications and support on customer required certificates by SQD auditor’s having the accredited qualification
  • Support and in some cases facilitate Customer Audits of 3PM Suppliers
  • Communicate Customer Requirements to Suppliers and ensure implementation
  • Conduct Audit Plan in the region by audit activities and auditor’s tasks (as reports and DB update)
  • Creation and revision of relevant quality documents in HIMDOC databases.
  • Support the internal audit and external audit such as DQS and customer audits.
  • Support MOC Process for Raw / Packaging / 3PM projects as defined in the procedure

What makes you a good fit

  • Master and / or Degree in chemistry or engineering
  • 6 or more years of experience in industry (Quality and / or Engineering)
  • Experience in ISO 9001, IATF 16949 standards, Food Safety, GMP
  • Core tools knowledge desired (PPAP, APQP, MSA, CEP and FMEA)
  • Experience in internal and external audits using process approach
  • Strong communication skills in English and Japanese
  • Experience in Customer Specific Requirements as applicable
