About the Role
We are currently looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our team in Tokyo. This role is crucial for maintaining and expanding relationships with LexisNexis’s existing customers in the corporate market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for achieving sales quotas and client satisfaction objectives.
This position focuses on existing business.
Responsibilities
Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure their satisfaction and retention.
Understand client needs and identify new business opportunities within existing accounts.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions that meet client requirements.
Conduct regular reviews to ensure clients are satisfied with their services and to resolve any issues.
Upsell and cross-sell products and services to enhance customer accounts.
Develop a thorough understanding of market conditions and competitive activities.
Prepare regular reports on account status, renewal, and sales activity.
Act as the client’s advocate internally to ensure project goals are met and services are delivered on time.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in account management, preferably in the SaaS or technology sector.
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
Fluent in Japanese and business level English is a plus.
Strong listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.
Ability to prioritize among competing tasks.
