Business Analyst - Manufacturing Domain

Job Summary
We are seeking a Business Analyst with expertise in the manufacturing domain to bridge the gap between business operations and IT solutions. The ideal candidate will analyze manufacturing processes, identify improvement opportunities, and translate business needs into functional requirements for digital transformation projects (., MES, ERP, Industry 4.0).
Key Responsibilities
Requirement Analysis & Solution Design
Collaborate with manufacturing stakeholders to document as-is / to-be processes (production, quality, supply chain).
Elicit and analyze business requirements for IT / OT systems (ERP, MES, PLM, IoT).
Translate operational challenges into functional specs for IT teams.
Conduct gap analysis and propose solutions aligned with Lean / Six Sigma principles.
Project Execution & Stakeholder Management
Work with cross-functional teams (IT, operations, vendors) to implement solutions.
Support UAT, change management, and user training .
Monitor KPIs (OEE, cycle time, defect rate) to measure solution impact.
Continuous Improvement
Identify process bottlenecks and recommend automation / digitalization opportunities.
Stay updated on Industry 4.0 trends (AI / ML, digital twin, predictive maintenance).
Required Skills
Must-Have :
5+ years as a BA in manufacturing (discrete / process industries).
Domain knowledge : production planning, quality, maintenance, supply chain .
Experience with ERP (SAP / Oracle), MES, or PLM systems .
Strong process mapping skills (BPMN, Visio).
Analytical mindset with Lean / Six Sigma exposure.
Excellent communication & facilitation skills .
Nice-to-Have :
Certification : CBAP, PMP, Lean Six Sigma .
Knowledge of SCADA, IoT, or Industry 4.0 technologies .
Proficiency in SQL, Power BI, or data analysis tools .
