Reporting to Head of Supply Chain Japan, this position leads, develops, implements and continuously improves a best-in-class demand and supply planning organization for the country. Overall responsibilities are demand & supply planning and inventory management including field inventory cycle count. In addition, there will be situation to take lead of cross supply chain-business projects based on org requirement.
Also, monitoring the performance and training needs of the team and fulfilling the team aspiration and on job training requirement.
- there will be two D&SP Group each supporting 2-3 Business Units. This individual will be responsible to Manage for one of the D&SP Group.

Fully responsible for the demand and supply planning in the countryProvide leadership and partner with key stake holders within the supply chain teams to drive process improvement and meet business demands in some or all of the following functions : new product launches, product line transfers, end of life (EOL) product life cycle planning, purchasing, and inventory managementRedefines systems, processes and organizational structures in order to maximize forecast accuracy and financial savingsPrepare inventory, scrap, operations cost forecasts and budget recommendations for managementEstablish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to demand forecasting, inventory processes / operations; measure actual performance against goals on regular basis and present results to senior managementDevelop strategies for improving operation efficiencies while improving service levels and optimizing inventory levels as well as operation costsCooperate with local management for all initiatives implementation in the countryCollaborate with other functions such as sales / marketing, finance, RA / QA and IT to intergrade business process and develop solutionsAchieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.Create and maintains departmental reports and track Key KPI as requiredEnsure compliance with established procedures and maintain effective internal controlResponsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the country. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable lawsEnsure applicable SOP of Abbott executedPrepare for Audits, Compliances & SOX, etc., DocumentationInitiate / participate in teams, committees, events and training which improves the organizationThis role is expected to supervise a team of specialist~supervisor level employeesResponsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; conducting performance appraisals; evaluating and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problemsDevelop employee in relations to training, performance management, career development and employee relations;Provide leadership by assigning goals which align to entity annual plans and department needs then manage team to execute goals through coaching and mentoringQualifications / 能力資格要件 : Describe the minimum education and experience, including knowledge, skills and abilities, required to successfully perform the job. General Qualifications
