About Organization

A highly motivated and technically proficient Quality Assurance Lead is sought to oversee QA activities focused on network interface validation, protocol-level testing, and end-to-end automation within a telecom environment. This position requires in-depth knowledge of telecom network architecture (4G / 5G), expertise in interface testing, and hands-on experience with monitoring platforms such as Radcom. The QA Lead collaborates cross-functionally with network engineering, operations, automation, and vendor teams to develop and implement robust, scalable QA strategies, while also managing automation initiatives tailored for network validation and observability.

Job Duties

Lead quality assurance strategy and planning for network interface validation including S1, S6a, SGs, Gx, Gy, Diameter, SIP, HTTP / 2, and other telco protocols.

Define and implement test strategies for validating core network (EPC / IMS / 5GC), RAN, and transport interfaces, ensuring high availability and reliability for the RADCOM solution.

Validate network call flows and service KPIs through protocol-level validation using tools like Radcom probe traces, and OSS etc.

Collaborate with engineering to ensure full test coverage for radcom interface stability, failover, and recovery scenarios.

Lead and drive QA automation initiatives for network validation (e.g., call flow validation, latency measurements, interface regression automation).

Manage technical QA projects with proper milestone planning, status reporting, risk management, and escalation handling.

Support validation of Radcom monitoring platform release and change request validation.

Work with DevOps and cloud teams to ensure automated tests are integrated into CI / CD pipelines for containerized / virtualized network functions.

Establish and govern QA processes, templates, test documentation standards, and compliance with telecom-grade quality frameworks.

Mentor junior QA engineers and create a knowledge-sharing culture across teams.

Minimum Qualifications

8+ years of experience in Telecom Quality Assurance, with at least 3+ years in a lead or senior role.

Strong understanding of 3GPP interfaces, network elements, and protocols (Diameter, SIP, GTP, HTTP / 2, SCTP etc).

Hands-on with Radcom or similar passive monitoring platforms for end-to-end call and session trace validation.

Proficiency in analyzing PCAPs, signaling traces, and logs from core and access network nodes.

Experience with QA automation frameworks / tools (e.g., Python, Robot Framework, REST API testing, traffic emulators).

Familiar with cloud-native telco architectures, container platforms (Kubernetes), and CI / CD pipelines.

Strong technical project management skills – requirement scoping, test planning, risk tracking, and reporting.

Process-oriented mindset with focus on traceability, metrics, and QA process maturity.

Languages :

English (Overall - 3 - Advanced), Japanese (Overall - 1 - Beginner)
