SS&C Intralinks, Account Executive – Alternative Investments, Japan (or + Korea)
Overview
We are seeking a high-energy, driven Account Executive to represent us and to develop our business in the Japan Alternative Investments client segment amid our continuous expansion in market share as the leading secure communications service provider.
The Account Executive is responsible for developing relationships with key contacts (Heads of Investor Relations, Heads of Marketing / Fundraising, Finance Team, Investment Team Professionals and C-Suite Executives) to drive business for SS&C Intralinks. The Account Executive will be assigned a territory of existing clients and prospects based in Japan. Individuals with Korean language capabilities will also be assigned additional responsibilities to expand client-base in Korea.
Responsibilities
- Establish relationships with key decision-makers at target accounts (Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Venture Capital, Private Real Estate Funds, Infrastructure Funds and Private Credit Funds)
- Create and manage telephone prospecting campaigns for new business
- Identify and establish relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in those target accounts
- Develop a thorough understanding of all Intralinks’ services, updating service knowledge and sales presentations as technical specifications might change
- Research key accounts to gain understanding of their market and industry, and to assess business opportunities
- Lead solution discovery discussions to understand clients’ requirements, objectives and priorities
- Present Intralinks’ business solutions using appropriate sales approaches and techniques, including team and consultative presentations and efforts
- Work with senior management and corporate counsels, negotiate on contracts
- Meet agreed monthly / annual performance in both sales activities (call, meetings, product demos, etc) and quota achievement
Qualifications
Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience required5+ years in B2B sales to mid or large enterprise accounts with proven track record, financial software or technology industry preferredExcellent verbal and written (including presentations) communication skills in English and JapaneseCould demonstrate Account Management and multi-tasking skillsDesired Qualifications
Possessed track record of consistently exceeding annual quota for 2-3 consecutive yearsDemonstrated high transactional sales experienceFluent in written and verbal Korean communicationsSaaS software solution sales preferredDemonstrated creativity and resourcefulnessDemonstrated ability in successfully closing complex sales cycles with C-Suites or SVP level decision-makersAbility to work with technical teams to overcome service delivery obstaclesDemonstrated ability to participate effectively within a team atmosphereDemonstrated ability to work independently and efficiently from home officeProficient in common PC business applications
