Position summary :
Reporting to NEA IT Lead, the IT Manager has the following responsibilities :
oResponsible for the IT systems and services provided to the following functions within the Japan & Korea : Finance, HR
oResponsible for supporting overall Data & Analytics services and data product management for Japan and Korea
oManage business relationship with stakeholders in Finance & HR
oProject Management for global technology services being rolled out to Japan and Korea in Finance, HR and Analytics area.
This is a hands-on role across the ANJ BU and requires an IT professional who has solid experience managing and working with functional stakeholders, delivering a diverse range of IT projects as well as supporting IT systems and services.
Position responsibilities :
- Lead the team and vendor to deliver NEA users with technical support and advice for Finance, HR, Data & Analytics capabilities. Various applications including Workflow EX, BPCS, BluePlanner, Microsoft O365 products, SharePoint, etc.
- Monitor, maintain & update application health status in HR, Finance & Analytics area through lifecycle, security, patching mgmt. etc.
- Delivery and support of data & analytics products
- Actively maintains knowledge articles & application records in responsible areas.
- Establish regular connection with key stakeholder and process owner in Finance & HR to understand business requirements for IT systems. Play an active role in supporting business improvement with Technology.
- Innovating and influencing how we leverage technology in the function, identifying opportunities to transform the business through the application of technology.
- Work together with global IT groups & ANJ IT team to ensure alignment of IT strategy with the business priorities and to maximise value creation.
- Managing a team of people, which may include direct and indirect networks of internal and external staff who may also be based offshore.
- End-to-end delivery and maintenance of IT functional systems and services in Finance, HR, Analytics, including :
- IT Project Management for new solutions or enhancements
- Service and Support Delivery for both inhouse and outsourced
- Associated vendor / 3rd party performance management
- Associated financial management
- Other duties as identified from time to time by the NEA IT Lead
Required skills, qualifications and experience :
Education & work experience :
Bachelor degree required, preferably in Information technology, Computer Science or Business.At least 3 years experience in IT application, IT business partnering or IT project / service delivery.Experience managing subordinates and small to medium sized projectsIT Skills & Competency :
Project Management : Ability to define, approach, facilitate and delivery small to medium scale projects in responsible areas using Agile or Waterfall approach.Business situation analysis : Ability to plan, manage and investigate business situation analysis where there is some ambiguity and complexity and provide IT specialist advice accordingly.Requirement definition : Defines and manages scoping, requirements definition and prioritisation activities for initiatives of medium size and complexity.Change management : Develops the change management approach and a change management plan in collaboration with sponsors, users and project teams.Stakeholder management : Identifies the communications and relationship needs of stakeholder groups. Translates communications / stakeholder engagement strategies into specific activities and deliverables.Communication : Identifies the communications and relationship needs of stakeholder groups. Allocates routine tasks or project work, in line with team objectives and individual capability and capacity.High sense of ownership and accountabilityFoundational knowledge of the IT software development lifecycle, and IT hosting / infrastructure technologies.Strong administration, reporting and organisational skillsIntermediate skill with the Microsoft Office suite of products (SharePoint, Excel, Word, Outlook)Strong knowledge of SQL, data structures and data visualisation methodsExperience with Power BI, Tableau and snowflake is desired but not mandatoryExperience with agile methodology is desired but not mandatoryStrong written and verbal communication skills in English and JapaneseQualifications :
ITIL Foundation, BABOK, Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Associate certification or equivalent knowledgeBusiness level language proficiency in English and Japanese (Korean a plus)Location(s)
