Boutique Associate

Position : Boutique Associate (Retail Sales Staff)

JOB Level : L5(N1)

Location : Shangri-La Tokyo

Employment Type : Full-time

Working Hours : Shift-based (8 hours per day)

11 : 00 - 20 : 00 and 12 : 00 - 21 : 00 on weekdays

10 : 00 - 19 : 00 and 12 : 00 - 21 : 00 on weekends

Permanent residents of Japan or holders of a Engineer / Specialist in Humanities / International Services visa only. Visa support is not provided by our company.

Job Responsibilities :

Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge in a luxury retail environment
Manage inventory : receiving, restocking, and displaying merchandise
Communicate with customers in both English and Japanese
Input data and prepare reports using computer systems
Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales goal

Requirements :

As our business partners are Japanese companies, proficiency in Japanese reading, writing, and customer service is essential.

Oral and written business level proficiency in both English and Japanese

Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory control

Proficiency in basic computer skills (e.g., Excel, email)

Motivated, enthusiastic, and goal-oriented

Flexible and team-oriented with strong communication skills

Initiative and strong desire to grow and achieve targets

Positive and customer-focused attitude

BENEFITS

Overtime allowance : Overtime allowance shall be based on actual overtime hours

Bonus : Determination of the payment of bonus shall be based on the business performance of SLTY, the Shangri-La Group and individual performance of the Employee.

Transportation fare : Actual public transportation fare required to report at the office and to return back home shall be paid (Maximum JPY 30,000.-).

Merit Salary Increment : Salary shall be reviewed once a year based on the achievement of each Employee according the Companys discretion.

Career development : Shangri-La Group is well known for its internal development program and with the upcoming opening of the Shangri-La in Kyoto, there is ample of opportunities in each field.

Canteen : Free one daily meal in the company cafeteria and a beverage station available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
