SeenThis Japan office is the newest addition to SeenThis global expansion. SeenThis Japan opened its doors in October-2024 and has experienced tremendous growth and we are therefore looking to add a sales manager to continue the expansion into the Japanese market.

About the role

As part of the sales team, you will build relationships and drive revenue across media agencies in Japan. We are a dynamic, creative and passionate team, delivering market-leading creative and video streaming technology to tier one media agencies and brands. Your mission will be to get our product in front of many key agency decision-makers and play a key role in helping the team reach revenue targets.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, agencies, and brands, understanding their business needs and marketing objectives.
  • Conduct regular meetings and business reviews to ensure client satisfaction and identify growth opportunities.Propose and integrate SeenThis technology into client media plans and retail media strategies.
  • Support campaign planning, creative development, execution, and ongoing optimization aligned with client KPIs.
  • Analyze advertising performance data, extract actionable insights, and create reports to drive upsell, cross-sell, and repeat business.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including creative, campaign management, product, and tech support to deliver high-impact solutions.
  • Coordinate with external partners to ensure smooth campaign execution and service delivery.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and digital marketing innovations, providing clients with relevant insights and recommendations.

Qualifications

We’re looking for a natural people-person who thrives in the digital media industry and who’s motivated to build and maintain relationships in everyday interaction with clients. You are highly driven by your goals and work persistently, taking creative initiative to achieve them.

Requirements

Sales and account management experience in the digital advertising industry (2 years or more).

Proposal sales experience for corporations (any industry, advertising / IT industry experience preferred).

Practical experience in data analysis and advertising effectiveness measurement.

Experience in promoting projects in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Fluent in Japanese and intermediate knowledge of English.

Nice to haves

Experience in an advertising agency, media company, platform provider, or the marketing department of a business company is highly valued.

Sales, consulting, and account management experience in web advertising are particularly highly valued.

Experience in proposal sales to major clients and advertising agencies is expected to be an asset.

Practical experience in data analysis and reporting.

Experience using data analysis tools (Google Analytics, ad management screen, etc.) to measure advertising effectiveness and propose improvements.

Experience working in a global environment.
