Project Manager (POS)

Job Summary

Company Information :

This innovative Japanese entertainment company focuses on creating immersive and technologically advanced experiences. The Solution Delivery team manages applications across HR, Finance, Sales & Marketing, and Operations, currently leading a POS modernization project to enhance credit card processing and related technologies.

Responsibilities :

Be a leader in the modernization project and effectively manage the project end to end, from requirement gathering and defining scope of work to deployment and maintenance.

Work with various stakeholders within the company to share updates on the POS modernization project, including external vendors and internal IT teams.

Work closely with the corporate office in the United States to ensure alignment with global strategies and expectations.

Manage deliverables from team members and share relevant updates to local stakeholders, including C-level executives.

Create project workback schedule, manage budget, and ensure resources are being used and allocated effectively. Overall, ensure the project is delivered effectively.

Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent work experience

Extensive experience with project management, having worked on multiyear projects related to corporate back of house functions. Great if they have prior experience with POS or Payment Gateway systems.

Past experience managing budget and working closely with Finance for overall finance management

Able to handle internal and external stakeholders, both in Japanese and English. Best if the candidate is bilingual with business level proficiency in the language.
