Help Build Japan’s Offshore Wind Future
Join a team at the forefront of Japan’s green energy transformation. As a Pre-installation Planner within our APAC Offshore Project Planning team, you will play a mission-critical role in preparing one of Japan’s key offshore wind projects for successful installation. You'll coordinate a wide range of stakeholders and support the pre-installation of turbines before they are deployed at sea.
This role is ideal for individuals with a background in construction planning, logistics, or supply chain — looking to grow in a global organization with cutting-edge renewable energy projects.
What You’ll Do
As a Pre-installation Planner, your core mission will be to ensure that the offshore pre-installation programme runs smoothly, stays on track, and reflects real-time conditions and risks. You’ll be the central link between project teams, subcontractors, logistics, procurement, finance, and site management. Your work ensures our teams are ready to deliver when it matters most.
Key responsibilities include :
Own and update the pre-installation project schedule throughout the project lifecycle.
Coordinate timelines with subcontractors and monitor progress to ensure alignment.
Identify critical paths, delays, and knock-on effects, proposing mitigation plans.
Facilitate planning workshops with cross-functional teams.
Support resource planning and allocation for both short- and long-term site needs.
Collaborate with sales support to evaluate planning scenarios for upcoming projects.
Workplace & Mobility
Remote work mode (initially based in Tokyo or another city in Japan).
Short-term travel to Taiwan may be required for training.
From Oct–Nov 6 or Jan–Feb 7 , you’ll be based on-site at the Katagami project in Akita Prefecture for ~7– months. Company-provided housing or housing allowance will be arranged.
After completion of the on-site work, you’ll return to remote work mode.
What You Bring
2+ years of experience in project planning, supply chain coordination, or construction projects.
Familiarity working with subcontractors and diverse stakeholders.
Strong organizational and communication skills (Japanese & English).
Knowledge of MS Office, ERP systems (SAP), and ideally, Power BI or Primavera / MS Project.
A background in Engineering, Logistics, or Project Management is preferred.
