Overview
The Marketing Specialist (Sales & Marketing Assistant) is responsible for creating and maintaining various types of content and driving marketing efforts in collaboration with distribution partners. The role involves creating and disseminating customer communications, developing sales materials, ensuring the up-to-dateness of online and offline media, and managing reference cases. Additionally, the associate will focus on building strong relationships with distribution partners, supporting their marketing activities, and providing them with necessary sales and marketing materials. The associate will also be involved in planning and executing local events, including trainings, seminars, exhibitions, and community events. Furthermore, the role encompasses media relations and social media engagement, including establishing relationships with key media partners, co-developing media content, initiating interviews and industry awards participation, and leading social media content creation and engagement.

Qualifications
Fluent in both written and spoken Japanese and English. Strong communication skills in both languages are essential for effectively working with local teams, partners, and stakeholders.
A bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or a related field is typically preferred. Relevant certifications or specialized training in marketing or content creation would be a plus.
Prior experience in marketing, content creation, or related roles is required. Experience in B2B marketing and familiarity with the Japanese market dynamics and cultural nuances would be advantageous.
Experience in creating engaging and persuasive content for various marketing channels, including written materials, presentations, and social media platforms. Strong copywriting and editing skills are necessary, along with attention to detail.
Experience in planning and organizing events, such as trainings, seminars, and exhibitions. Familiarity with event management processes, including invitation processes and post-event evaluation, would be beneficial.
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners, direct accounts, and media partners. Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-centric mindset are important for collaborating effectively with stakeholders.
Experience in digital marketing strategies and social media platforms. Experience in managing social media channels, creating engaging content, and measuring performance metrics would be advantageous.
Demonstrated ability to work in a multicultural environment and adapt to different cultural norms and practices. Understanding and appreciation of Japanese business culture and etiquette is important for building successful relationships.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines. Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.
