We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Accountant to join a leading retail company in Tokyo. This hybrid role involves managing accounts payable and ensuring compliance with Japanese and US accounting standards. Key Responsibilities :

• Process accounts payable invoices and payments using SAP.
• Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, including journal entries.
• Reconcile balance sheets and manage tax data like consumption and withholding tax.
• Handle intercompany transactions and keep track of fixed assets.
• Assist with tax filings and audits.
• Work with internal teams to uphold accounting policies and solve accounting issues.
• Take part in various financial tasks and help improve processes.
