General Description :
The Medical Science Liaison Manager / Senior Medical Science Liaison Manager, Solid Tumor, Japan (MSL / Sir MSL) will support the execution of BeiGene Japan Medical activities in the field, and BeiGene pre-clinical and clinical pipeline development by coordinating external collaborations, research endeavors with heath care providers and academicians while ensuring internal partnership across the organization. The MSL / Sir MSL will report to the Head of Solid Tumor Medical Affairs.
As a leader in the organization, the MSL / Sir MSL will develop field medical strategies to support enduring and compliant relationships with opinion leaders, investigators & key stake holders in support of BeiGene pipeline development (Solid Tumor). Responsibilities require pre-launch and post-launch Field Medical activities for Solid Tumor pipeline assets. Specifically, the MSL / Sir MSL will work closely with internal colleagues in Global clinical development, clinical operations, legal, compliance, Global patient safety, marketing, and sales.
MSL / Sir MSL identify scientific opportunities to partner with external expert and generate insights to enhance BeiGene’s medical plan. MSL / Sir MSL is required to combine their clinical expertise with strong business acumen and presentation skills to serve as key channel of information for KOLs through scientific exchange.

Qualification Required :
Education Required :
Master’s in life science, or PhD preferred.
Advanced degree or those with a undergraduate degree in life sciences with commensurate pharmaceutical industry and clinical research experience.
Experiences and Qualifications :
Experience in Pharma industry in Clinical Development, Safety Department or Research Experience more than 3 years
Ability to synthesize recent scientific information, analyze them within strategic and regulatory settings.
Proven ability to work independently as well as in networks including with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to partner and maintain raelationships within the medical community.
Excellent communication, presentation skills.
Proven team player with ability to navigate cross functionally.
Values consistent with BeiGene values.
Good English and Japanese (written and spoken)
Supervisory Responsibilities :
No Direct Reports
Computer Skills : Skilled in multiple computer-based tools, in addition to software programs such as Word, Project, PowerPoint, Excel, etc. PC & iPad literacy required, MS Office skills, experienced with electronic CRM systems.
Travel : Business travel to visit KOLs and participation at major congresses
