Amazon Vendor Services (AVS) ProServe is a retail vendor consulting organization within Japan Consumer Innovation (JCI) designed to address the most pressing issues held by the senior leadership of our largest vendors and spin the flywheel of vendor and Amazon growth through the development of science-driven capabilities that create differentiating insight. We serve our customers through the development of retail strategies that enable their long-term growth via the combination of management consulting methodologies, data science, and decades of proprietary transaction data and eCommerce expertise.

Key job responsibilities

Delivery – Develop materials, conduct analysis, and implement solutions based on defined workplans and vendor needs, and deliver to quality standards

Engagement - Contribute to project success as a team member. Build relationships with core vendor team members and internal science and business stakeholders

Program Support - Share feedback from engagements with Data Scientists and Product Managers to contribute to tools / framework development for enhanced vendor experience

Training – Explain AVS professional services to customers, partners, and internal teams; support internal training and knowledge development activities

This is a customer facing role. You will be required to travel to client locations and deliver professional services when needed.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Speak, write, and read fluently in Japanese
  • Problem-solving ability and analytical thinking
  • Experience in data analysis and insight generation
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional experience in consulting, corporate strategy, sales, marketing, or finance
  • Retail / 電子商取引の経験 / Retail / E-Commerce experience
  • SQLの基本的な知識 / Basic knowledge of SQL
